RTX Spark laptops start at 2,999 euros in the Netherlands
The new devices target local AI applications and will be delivered later this month.
The first laptops with Nvidia’s RTX Spark processor cost at least 2,999 euros in the Netherlands. According to Dutch online retailer listings, the most powerful versions cost more than 6,000 euros.
Tweakers found the first Dutch price listings at Megekko and Coolblue. The cheapest model is a Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 with 32 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of storage. The first deliveries are expected later this month.
The price rises quickly for models with more memory. A version with 48 gigabytes costs 4,199 euros according to the listings. Laptops with 64 gigabytes start at 4,499 euros, while variants with 128 gigabytes cost at least 6,299 euros.
RTX Spark is a new chip family with which Nvidia is explicitly targeting Windows computers for local artificial intelligence. The chips combine Arm processor cores with a built-in Blackwell GPU. This means certain AI models and software can run locally on the laptop, without every calculation having to be sent to a data centre.
Nvidia cites local AI models and AI agents among the applications. According to the manufacturer, the most powerful N1X Max variant has 6,144 CUDA cores and a 20-core processor. A less powerful N1X Pro has 5,120 CUDA cores and 18 processor cores.
The Dutch market is still limited at launch. For now, laptops from ASUS, MSI and Lenovo can be pre-ordered. Dell, HP and Microsoft have also announced devices, but not all models are yet available in the Netherlands.
The prices say little yet about the practical added value. Performance depends on software, cooling, battery capacity and how AI models are run. Independent comparisons with existing laptops are still limited at the market launch. The first RTX Spark models are therefore above all an expensive early entry into a new category of computers.
