X and xAI are rolling out a subscription that brings X Premium, Grok, Grok Bot and Cursor together. Existing customers can keep their current subscription, but will also have the option to switch to the bundle.

The bundle is called The X Subscription. According to xAI, it combines the social network X with the AI services Grok and Grok Bot and the programming environment Cursor. The company announced the product earlier in October; the accompanying documentation was updated on 12 October.

Alongside a free version, four paid tiers have been announced. The prices given are 8 dollars a month for Plus, 30 dollars for Premium, 100 dollars for Super and 200 dollars for Ultra. Taxes and local prices may differ.

Within the paid bundle, Grok and Cursor share a weekly limit for AI use. This means customers can use the available allowance for conversations, image and voice features or coding agents. According to the terms, anyone using models from other providers in Cursor pays for them separately.

The bundle is not compulsory for existing subscribers. Customers with an existing subscription to X Premium, Grok or Cursor can retain their current price and features until they switch or cancel themselves.

When switching, the selected old subscriptions are terminated according to xAI, and any unused prepaid amount is refunded on a pro-rata basis. The documentation warns that a merged account structure cannot easily be reversed, meaning customers should check their choice carefully.

For teams and businesses, xAI mentions features such as a shared bill, usage analyses, administrative controls and single sign-on. In this way, the company is trying to tie not only individual users but also business customers to a single package of services.

The bundle narrows the boundary between social platform, AI assistant and development tool. At the same time, it creates greater dependence on a single provider: changes to prices, usage limits or terms could affect several services at once. Independent information about the practical rollout in the Netherlands remains limited; the available details come mainly from xAI and X themselves.
