Corbion saw organic revenue grow by 7.6 per cent in the third quarter of 2026. The Dutch ingredients company is also ending the sale process for its stake in the TotalEnergies Corbion joint venture.
Quarterly revenue came to €340.5 million, compared with €311.6 million a year earlier. Organic growth was 7.6 per cent; volume and product mix rose by 7.9 per cent combined, while prices were on average 0.3 per cent lower.
Adjusted EBITDA, a measure of operating profit before interest, tax, depreciation and certain adjustments, came to €64.1 million. That was 28.2 per cent more than in the third quarter of 2025. The margin rose from 15.9 to 18.8 per cent.
Corbion says growth was broad-based, but was particularly strong in Health & Nutrition. Activities involving natural preservatives for food and biochemical products also contributed to the development.
The company has decided to halt the sale process for its stake in TotalEnergies Corbion. The joint venture develops and produces PLA, a biobased plastic. Corbion says the proposals it received were not sufficiently aligned with the company’s value and strategic position.
In the first nine months of 2026, revenue came to €971.6 million and adjusted EBITDA to €152.9 million. Operating profit during that period, at €81.4 million, was lower than a year earlier, despite the strong improvement in the third quarter.
Corbion is maintaining its outlook for the whole of 2026. The group is targeting organic revenue growth of 3 to 6 per cent and an EBITDA margin above 16 per cent. Such expectations remain dependent on market conditions, raw material prices and the development of demand.
The figures are relevant to the food, chemicals and life sciences sectors. Corbion supplies ingredients to other companies, so consumers will not necessarily notice the quarterly performance directly in individual retail products.
